About the role
- Supports tasking in PMA-265, NAVAIR Head Quarters.
- Provides technical and analytical support services for integration and sustainment planning to the USN FMS IPT for the F/A-18 air vehicle, subsystems, armament, engine, spares and support equipment efforts.
- Provides guidance and supervision for logistics analysts supporting aircraft, weapon systems, training, or SE programs.
- Develops LOA data; provides resource analysis of integration and sustainment resource requirements.
- Reviews and provides recommendations on aircraft configuration changes and provide life cycle management support services.
- Analyzes USN FMS IPT pre-case requirements for prospective programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- An Active Secret Clearance is required in order to be considered.
- At least ten (10) years of experience in acquisition and/or operational logistics support/maintenance engineering, or a Society of Logistics Engineers (SOLE) Logistician certification as a Demonstrated Master Logistician (DML) plus six (6) years recent experience in acquisition logistics/maintenance engineering.
- Four (4) years supervising/directing at least two (2) acquisition/logistics managers in the performance of comprehensive analysis across the spectrum of ILS elements during a job assignment in or in support of an acquisition command.
- Four (4) years of DoD acquisition logistics support experience to include specific experience in acquisition planning and management.
