About the role

  • Conceptualize and develop new features for our e‑commerce system following common design patterns and coding principles
  • Write integration or unit tests to ensure code quality
  • (Further) develop and maintain existing functionality
  • Perform code refactoring for continuous software optimization
  • Actively participate in daily stand-ups, code reviews and pull requests

Requirements

  • Relevant completed vocational training or university degree (e.g., Business Informatics); alternatively several years of professional experience in web development
  • Solid experience in web development (PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, HTML, CSS); experience with PHP frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel is desirable
  • Bonus points for experience with common test frameworks, e‑commerce systems or technologies such as Linux, Docker, Confluence or Azure DevOps
  • Soft skills: analytical thinking, independent and solution‑oriented working, team‑oriented and communicative — also within the team
