About the role

  • Designing and developing new features for our e‑commerce system following common design patterns and coding principles
  • Creating integration and unit tests to ensure code reliability
  • Ongoing development and enhancement of existing functionality
  • Code refactoring to continuously optimize the software
  • Active participation in daily stand-ups, code reviews and pull requests

Requirements

  • Relevant completed vocational training or university degree (e.g., Business Informatics); alternatively several years of professional experience in web development
  • Solid experience in web development (PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, HTML, CSS); experience with PHP frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel is desirable
  • Bonus points for experience with common testing frameworks, e‑commerce systems, or other technologies such as Linux, Docker, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
  • Soft skills: analytical thinking, independent and solution‑oriented work style, team‑oriented and communicative collaboration — also within the team
