About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review revenue and expense recognition for brokerage-related transactions.
Support the monthly financial statement close process.
Prepare and maintain revenue-related balance sheet account reconciliations.
Reconcile and investigate outstanding accounts receivable balances.
Identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and communicate findings clearly.
Serve as a point of contact for account discrepancies and transaction-related questions.
Assist with monthly financial analysis and ad-hoc reporting.
Evaluate accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting procedures to identify improvement opportunities.
Support accounting-related projects and process improvements.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors when needed.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure transaction recording accuracy.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Hands-on experience with account reconciliations, month-end close, accounts receivable, revenue accounting, or transaction review.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Near-native English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Curiosity to understand how processes work and the drive to identify and solve issues.
Positive, collaborative, and proactive attitude.
