About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with other sub-system teams supporting the lander propulsion design.
- Support the propulsion team with technical validation and feedback.
- Propose practical applications such as trade-off studies and process selection.
- Lead solutions through discussions at sub-system and system levels.
- Maintain spacecraft propulsion system relevant documents.
- Support completion of design reviews and related action items.
- Assist with manufacturing, integration, testing, and launch operations related to propulsion systems.
- Evaluate component level tests related to propulsion subsystems.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5 years of experience in 3D CAD-based layout design, including integration of multiple components within constrained spaces.
- Experience designing with manufacturability, assembly, and testing considerations in mind.
- Experience in fluid system design.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proactive attitude, strong sense of ownership, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Working-level English proficiency; business-level Japanese is a plus.
