About the role
- Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines
- Support the creation and implementation of transformation processes to turn raw data into actionable insights
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and availability across different environments
- Contribute to optimizing solutions for performance and cost efficiency
- Partner with domain engineering teams as they design and evolve their own pipelines
- Work alongside experienced colleagues, learning from them while taking ownership of your own tasks
- Use technologies such as Databricks, dbt, and Azure Data Lake to design and optimize solutions that power business insights
Requirements
- ~2 years of experience as a Data Engineer, ideally in cloud environments
- Good Databricks and PySpark skills
- Exposure to Azure Data Lake
- Familiar with dbt Core, Databricks Jobs or Azure Data Factory
- Experience with GitHub and CI/CD workflows
- Clear communicator, able to document processes effectively
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Fluent in English; German or French a plus
- EU citizenship or valid Spanish work visa
