About the role

  • Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Support the creation and implementation of transformation processes to turn raw data into actionable insights
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and availability across different environments
  • Contribute to optimizing solutions for performance and cost efficiency
  • Partner with domain engineering teams as they design and evolve their own pipelines
  • Work alongside experienced colleagues, learning from them while taking ownership of your own tasks
  • Use technologies such as Databricks, dbt, and Azure Data Lake to design and optimize solutions that power business insights

Requirements

  • ~2 years of experience as a Data Engineer, ideally in cloud environments
  • Good Databricks and PySpark skills
  • Exposure to Azure Data Lake
  • Familiar with dbt Core, Databricks Jobs or Azure Data Factory
  • Experience with GitHub and CI/CD workflows
  • Clear communicator, able to document processes effectively
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Fluent in English; German or French a plus
  • EU citizenship or valid Spanish work visa
