About the role

  • Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines from SAP S/4, Salesforce, ByDesign, and others
  • Turn raw data into useful insights through transformation processes
  • Ensure data is accurate, consistent, and always available
  • Optimize environments for better speed and lower costs
  • Help domain teams build and manage their own pipelines
  • Collaborate with talented colleagues and cross-functional teams
  • Work with Databricks, dbt, Azure services, Data Lake and Delta Lake
  • Influence how companies use data to make smarter decisions

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer
  • Deep knowledge of Azure Databricks with Spark and PySpark
  • Experience with cluster tuning and integration with Data Lake and Delta Lake
  • Strong skills in dbt Core for SQL models, tests, and documentation
  • Experience with pipeline orchestration using Databricks Jobs and Azure Data Factory
  • Ability to handle incremental loads and fine-tune performance
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub CI/CD workflows
  • Solid understanding of Azure services and ecosystem
  • Knowledge of data governance, schema enforcement, and lineage
  • Clear communicator and collaborative team player
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • German or French would be a plus
  • EU citizen or valid Spanish work visa
