Partnerships Lead
IslacarePartnerships Lead developing and leading NHS executive relationships for healthtech startup Isla Health. Driving strategic growth and managing a portfolio of opportunities within the healthcare system.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the executive pitch: Lead vision-led conversations with NHS C-suite stakeholders, focusing on system-wide impact rather than just product features.
- Lead executive-level engagement: Own a portfolio of strategic opportunities, navigating NHS governance and procurement to move deals from identification to close.
- Develop quantitative business cases: Use Google Sheets/Excel to build robust financial models that translate messy operational reality into structured numbers for execs.
- Leverage your network: Use your existing NHS connections and "insider" status to open doors and navigate complex procurement and governance routes.
- Drive strategic growth & shape commercial strategy: Feed structured market insights back into the business to steer key decisions and the product roadmap.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with our Product and Delivery teams to ensure the commercial promises we make align with clinical reality.
Requirements
What you’ll need- NHS "Insider" credibility: You have either sold heavily into the NHS at scale (enterprise deals) or you have worked within the NHS in a senior capacity. You "speak the language" and understand how decisions actually get made.
- Quantitative & data rigour: You are highly comfortable in Google Sheets/Excel. You can build your own financial models and business cases to prove ROI to NHS Finance Directors.
- Executive credibility: You have experience pitching to or working directly with NHS executives (COOs, Medical Directors, etc.) and command natural seniority and confidence.
- Strategic thinking: The ability to navigate long sales cycles and position Isla within national and regional priorities.
- Enterprise sales track record: Success in leading large, consultative deals or transformation programmes within healthcare.
- Passion & energy: A deep desire to solve global problems and make a positive change in patient healthcare.
