About the role
- Planning, deployment and maintenance of IT systems and network infrastructures
- Installation and configuration of hardware and software components
- Administration and maintenance of Windows servers and Windows clients
- Management and administration of Microsoft services such as Active Directory, Exchange Online, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Admin Center
- Setup and maintenance of the telephone system (PBX)
- Monitoring system availability as well as performing backups, updates and regular maintenance of on-premises IT systems
- Configuration and management of network components including VLANs, VPN, firewalls, routing and switching
- Troubleshooting and fault resolution in 1st- and 2nd-level support
- Participation in IT projects to further develop the system landscape
- Documentation of systems, processes and IT infrastructure
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification in the IT field
- Initial experience with IT security solutions, backup and recovery strategies
- Ideally knowledge of scripting
- Strong knowledge in administration of Windows systems (servers & clients)
- Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, Microsoft Admin Center
- Solid understanding of network architectures, especially VLAN, LAN, WAN, VPN, TCP/IP, firewalls, routing and switching
- Experience in managing and maintaining telephone systems, ideally with VoIP systems
