About the role
- Design, build, and support innovative solutions using Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for command and executive audiences.
- Build and enhance custom applications to streamline business processes.
- Design, implement, and monitor automated workflows for notifications and approvals.
- Customize and extend Dataverse databases, including adding columns and dashboards.
- Gather requirements and user stories from stakeholders, including cybersecurity teams.
- Participate in weekly sprint sessions and daily standups to prioritize tasks.
- Provide technical documentation, design documents, and user guides for end users.
- Assist with user account administration, license assignment, and application usage monitoring.
- Ensure solutions align with Navy cybersecurity standards and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, or a BS STEM discipline from an accredited university.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience with Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate in an enterprise or government environment.
- Advanced Power BI report and dashboard development, including DAX and data modeling.
- Experience building canvas and model-driven Power Apps.
- Proficiency in designing multi-step Power Automate flows.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and data integration.
- Ability to create clear technical documentation and user guides.
- Ability to obtain and maintain one of the following certifications within 90 days: CCNA-Security, CySA+, Security+ CE, GICSP, GSEC, CND, or SSCP.
