About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the technical deployment, management and optimization of network security solutions (NGFW, WAF, IPS, NAC). Configure, manage and maintain Firewall (NGFW) solutions, including security policies, VPNs (IPsec and SSL), Web Filtering and Application Control.
- Manage high-impact change processes, ensuring the security and stability of client environments.
- Interact directly with clients during critical situations, organizing and executing joint troubleshooting sessions / war rooms with client teams (and vendors when applicable) to accelerate incident resolution.
- Act as an escalation point for activities, supporting junior and mid-level teams in incidents and performing troubleshooting across multi-vendor equipment.
- Produce technical reference documentation and security architectures, defining standards and best practices for the team.
- Mentor junior and mid-level analysts, sharing knowledge and promoting the technical development of the team.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience supporting mission-critical infrastructures and multi-vendor environments, able to ensure high availability and respond to audits as required.
- Technical English (for reading documentation and interacting on platforms).
- Expertise in advanced troubleshooting and deep knowledge of network and security protocols.
- Proficiency in one or more of the following technologies:
- Perimeter and Threat Security: Firewalls (NGFW, IPsec VPN), IPS.
- Application Security: WAF / Cloud WAF (Web Application Firewall).
- Network Infrastructure: Advanced Switching & Routing (BGP, OSPF).
- Access Control: NAC (802.1x) and Enterprise Wi‑Fi (WLC, 802.11).
- Conversational English for vendor interaction and participation in technical meetings (advantage).
- Experience with network automation using Python, Ansible or other tools (advantage).
- Deep knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001 and market best practices (CISSP, Security+) (advantage).
- Desired certifications: Firewall Specialist: Fortinet (NSE7, FCSS), Palo Alto (PCNSE), Check Point (CCSE), Juniper (JNCIP-SEC). Application and Cloud Security: AWS Security Specialty, GIAC GWAPT, F5-201, Imperva. Network Specialist: Cisco (CCNP Enterprise/Wireless), Juniper (JNCIP-ENT), Arista (ACE-P), CWSP. Access Control: Certifications in Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, FortiNAC.
