About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Configure, manage and maintain Firewall solutions (NGFW), including security policies, VPNs (IPsec and SSL), Web Filter and Application Control.
Troubleshoot security incidents and connectivity issues related to the network perimeter.
Analyze security logs and alerts to identify and respond to potential threats.
Actively participate in the change management process, ensuring the secure implementation of new rules and configurations.
Create and maintain technical documentation for the managed environments.
Collaborate with internal teams and interact with clients to resolve tickets and provide specialized technical support.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in security or network operations environments.
Strong knowledge of Firewalls: NGFW, IPsec VPN, Web Filter, Application Control and Inspection.
Experience with network troubleshooting and packet analysis.
Familiarity with change management processes and security best practices.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Technical English (for reading documentation and interacting with platforms).
Experience with complementary technologies such as WAF, IPS, Switching & Routing (BGP, OSPF) and NAC (802.1x).
Basic knowledge of task automation (scripting in Python, Ansible, etc.).
Familiarity with applicable security standards such as ISO 27001.
Firewall focus: Fortinet (NSE 4, FCP), Palo Alto (PCNSA), Check Point (CCSA).
Advanced certifications (NSE 7, PCNSE, CCSE) are a strong plus.
Others: Cisco (CCNA), CompTIA (Security+).
