About the role
- Reports to the Design Architect and collaborates with cross-functional teams
- Bridges the gap between design and technical implementation
- Drives holistic front-end development across products
- Ensures design intent is consistently realized
Requirements
- At least five years of relevant professional experience contributing to a design system
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, Sass, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and modern frameworks (React preferred)
- Deep understanding of WCAG and WAI-ARIA guidelines
- Experienced with Figma (plugin and API development), Style Dictionary, Storybook, and Chromatic
- Skilled in Git/GitHub, Jira, and Agile methodologies
- Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
- Willingness to travel approximately once per quarter
