About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and evolve infrastructure spanning both on-premises and cloud deployments.
Own improvements to CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and infrastructure automation.
Lead technical initiatives to improve platform scalability, reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
Shape long-term DevOps and platform engineering strategy.
Support deployments across public cloud, private cloud, on-prem air-gapped installation, customer-owned infrastructure, and regulated environments.
Collaborate closely with software engineering teams for fast, reliable development workflows.
Mentor engineers, share knowledge, and help establish engineering best practices.
Stay hands-on: build, troubleshoot, and operate the platform yourself

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure for high-performance distributed applications
Strong experience designing and operating solutions across both on-premises infrastructure and cloud platforms
Strong Kubernetes knowledge / container platform experience (k3s, OpenShift, AKS, GKE)
Experience with infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and GitOps practices
Strong understanding of Linux administration, operating systems, and system performance
Experience with databases, messaging systems, and distributed platforms
Good understanding of cloud security, infrastructure security, and operational best practices
Experience with both Windows and Linux build environments and toolchains
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring engineers, or acting as a technical lead
Proficiency in English. Swedish is a plus but not required.
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
