About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drafting, coordinating, and finalising Annual Financial Statements and tax related tasks for various clients
- Reviewing financial statements to ensure compliance with IFRS for SMEs
- Supporting month-end close processes when needed
- Assisting with process improvements and special projects
- Supporting accounting teams with AFS-related queries
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of year-end reporting quality
Requirements
What you’ll need- BCom Accounting degree (or similar qualification)
- 3+ years’ experience drafting Annual Financial Statements
- Experience with cloud accounting platforms such as Xero
- Experience using CaseWare or DraftWorx
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
- SAIPA or CIMA/CGMA designation (newly qualified as this is an entry level role post articles)
