About the role
- Producing impactful research and analysis of potential risks to cleared defense contractors (CDC) and Department of Defense (DoD) programs.
- Identifying and reporting potential vulnerabilities associated with the CDC.
- Identifying and reporting possible OPSEC or other security issues associated with the CDC.
- Identifying and reporting possible violations of 32 Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) Part 117 requirements.
- Authoring professional work products and meeting established deadlines.
- Working in a collaborative on-site work environment at DCSA or independently through customer-approved telework.
- Provide security oversight as the primary DoD security interface for cleared contractor facilities relative to the establishment and maintenance of a security program in compliance with the NISP.
- Responsible for handling more difficult, complex, and challenging industrial security issues within the NAESOC area of responsibility.
- Identify and conduct administrative inquiries of serious security violations.
- The ability to set well-defined and realistic personal goals and display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner.
- Facilitate integration of the counterintelligence (CI) methodology into the administration of the NISP and provide CI information and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least three (3) years' experience with security-related data systems such as the National Industrial Security System (NISS), and the Defense Information System for Security - Joint Verification System (DISS-JVS), OR three (3) years' experience in intelligence or counterintelligence.
- National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) experience.
- Industrial Security Experience.
- At least three (3) years' experience in program management support.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Knowledge of the principles of OPSEC and OSINT.
- Familiarity with new CUI guidance and directives.
- Ability to understand and apply the principles of research to analyze, evaluate, and interpret raw data collected from multiple sources.
