About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and execute Ipas' individual giving strategy, expanding relationships with major and principal donors while increasing unrestricted philanthropic revenue.
- Personally cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of transformational donors and prospects.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Individual Giving team.
- Partner with executive leadership and colleagues across Development, Communications, Finance, and global programs to strengthen donor engagement and organizational philanthropy.
- Utilize fundraising analytics, portfolio management, and strategic planning to drive long-term fundraising success and operational excellence.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrated success securing major and principal gifts, including six- and seven-figure philanthropic investments.
- Experience leading an individual giving, major gifts, or principal gifts fundraising program.
- Proven ability to lead and develop fundraising professionals.
- Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and strategic planning skills.
- Experience developing donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies.
- Passion for advancing human rights, reproductive freedom, gender equity, or related social justice causes.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
