About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and deploy frontend and backend services focused on high availability, low latency, and scalability
  • Design, develop, and configure custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and declarative tools
  • Lead and assist with software system and application design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging
  • Identify and resolve advanced-scope defects using browser developer tools, APM and logging platforms, and Salesforce debug logs
  • Promote engineering best practices, design standards, and procedures
  • Write, test, commit, review, deploy, and document code
  • Support and maintain existing products and add customer-requested features
  • Adapt to changing business environments and requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, quality assurance, and other teams in an agile environment
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum activities
  • Provide feedback, guidance, and mentorship through pair programming, collaboration, communication, and code reviews

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience, or successful completion of a development boot camp
  • At least five (5) years of work experience in software development
  • Advanced knowledge of at least one high-level programming language (e.g., Apex, Java, NodeJS, Python)
  • Experience developing on the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce integrations, including REST/SOAP APIs and Platform Events
  • Advanced knowledge of CI/CD concepts and practical experience applying them
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms
  • Proficiency with SQL and relational database concepts
  • Proficient knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • General knowledge of web development concepts
  • Follows and promotes Agile practices and principles
  • Ability to develop complex software in Apex and other programming languages
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Willingness to mentor and support the growth of other engineers
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and guidance in code reviews
  • Working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, particularly on AWS
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript frameworks
