About the role
- Responsible for prospecting, soliciting, developing and maintaining business relationships with a client base composed mainly of SMEs operating in the commercial market, with the objective of supporting the Company’s growth.
- Act as an account manager, serving as the primary point of contact between the Company and its clients.
- Establish and maintain relationships with business owners to discuss the specifics of their companies in order to diagnose issues, provide advice and, where appropriate, prepare an IQ service proposal tailored to their business needs.
- Be responsible for a portfolio of financial interventions and its profitability.
- Ensure growth and retention of current clients within the portfolio while acquiring new clients and building a pipeline of business opportunities.
- Be active in the business community, targeting high‑value activities to promote the Company’s visibility and solicit referrals that will facilitate client acquisition.
- Identify the most promising projects and encourage companies or partners to use the Company’s services.
- Ensure sound risk management for the entire portfolio under your responsibility.
- Ensure proper use, updating and satisfaction regarding the products and services offered.
- Analyze sources of dissatisfaction and recommend possible solutions.
- Stay informed of changes to policies, procedures and detailed processes, as well as trends related to credit and regulatory matters that could impact the Company.
- In collaboration with the technician, maintain business relationships with portfolio clients and proceed with the collection of amounts due from companies in arrears.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or another relevant discipline.
- Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience as a business financing professional.
- Knowledge of financial analysis techniques, collateral/security and standard financing practices.
- Proficiency in French (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is an asset.
