About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Support teams in delivering against roadmap priorities in a structured and predictable way
- Work closely with Product Owners to support backlog refinement, prioritisation, and clarity of requirements
- Identify and remove blockers that impact team progress and delivery
- Coach teams on Agile and Scrum best practices, encouraging continuous improvement
- Help improve collaboration between engineering, product, and wider business stakeholders
- Support visibility of delivery through Jira and other reporting tools
- Contribute to improving delivery processes, tooling, and ways of working across teams
- Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous learning
- Consistent and predictable delivery across sprints and releases
- Improved team collaboration and engagement
- Clear, well-managed backlogs aligned to business priorities
- Reduced blockers and smoother delivery flow
- Continuous improvement in Agile maturity across teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience working as a Scrum Master in a software development environment
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum principles and practices
- Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and supporting delivery across teams
- Ability to manage and prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience using Jira (or similar tools) for tracking and reporting delivery
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remove delivery blockers
- Ability to coach and support teams in improving ways of working
- (Desirable) Experience working across multiple Scrum teams
- (Desirable) Exposure to scaling Agile practices
- (Desirable) Experience contributing to delivery improvements or process change
- (Desirable) Knowledge of other Agile frameworks or project methodologies
- (Desirable) Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM or equivalent)
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership
- Clear and confident communicator
- Collaborative and team-oriented
- Pragmatic thinker who understands trade-offs
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Adaptable, with a continuous improvement mindset
