About the role
- Collaborating with our internal team (including the CEO!) or working directly with clients to define, design, and ship new features.
- Managing multiple projects, where prioritization, autonomy, and clear communication are key.
- Serving as a technical leader within the team, helping set direction and mentor others.
- Conducting clear, professional communication while engaging with internal stakeholders and clients.
Requirements
- Strong WordPress skills (theme customization, plugin use/dev, etc.)
- Comfort with how the internet works (DNS, SSL, CDNs, caching, etc.)
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (e.g. React)
- Familiarity with REST APIs
- Use of additional CMSs like Shopify, Prismic, or Cascade
- Knowledge of web performance, accessibility, and UX standards
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.
- Comfort working in remote environments
