About the role

  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of agentic AI systems capable of goal-driven decision-making, planning, and autonomous action
  • Translate product and customer requirements into scalable, production-ready AI and software platform designs
  • Drive rapid iteration and deployment while ensuring system reliability, safety, and maintainability
  • Define engineering and AI platform standards to support long-term scalability and operational excellence
  • Balance learning-based approaches (RL, ML) with deterministic or rules-based components where appropriate
  • Participate in design and code reviews, troubleshooting complex technical challenges
  • Improve development efficiency through process optimization and technical leadership
  • Coordinate and technically guide a multidisciplinary team of ~30 engineers in collaboration with program management
  • Support customer-facing and sales discussions requiring deep AI and platform expertise.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience building complex, production-grade software products with a strong focus on AI/ML systems
  • Proven experience deploying decision-making or autonomous systems into customer cloud or hybrid environments
  • Strong foundation in machine learning, reinforcement learning, optimization, control systems, and statistics
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering agent-based or autonomous platforms
  • Excellent software engineering skills, particularly in Python and SQL (UX experience is a plus)
  • Ability to make sound architectural and technical decisions with incomplete or imperfect data
  • Experience working in or scaling early-stage or Series A/B startup environments.
