About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and maintain relationships with state lottery leaders, key government officials, legislators, and regulatory bodies to advocate for the company's interests and contribute to the development of policies affecting the lottery industry.
Position the company with key Lottery and Government stakeholders in advance of RFPs being issued.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with state lotteries, industry associations, government officials, and other stakeholders.
Represent the company in relevant forums and contribute to discussions shaping the lottery industry landscape.
Monitor legislative and regulatory developments related to the lottery and gaming industry.
Develop and execute strategies to advocate for favorable policies and regulations that align with Intralot’s commercial strategy.
Engage regularly with legislators, regulators, and agencies on legislative and regulatory developments affecting the business.
Prepare briefing materials and policy updates for senior leadership and the board to inform strategic decision-making.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's or master's degree in Political Science, International Relations, Public Policy, Law, or a related field
Advanced certifications in Public Affairs, Lobbying Regulation, or Diplomatic Protocol are desirable.
15+ years of experience in government relations, lobbying, regulatory affairs, or diplomatic strategy, with at least 5 years in senior leadership or executive-level role.
Proven ability to manage relationships with high-level stakeholders, influence public policy, and operate in complex political environments.
Experience with lobbying regulations and public affairs operations in multinational and regulated sectors.
