About the role
- Provide operational leadership and strategic direction for the management and optimization of the Epic platform.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and stakeholders to align system capabilities with organizational goals.
- Lead execution of the long-term strategy for Epic platform evolution and optimization.
- Oversee Epic governance structures to ensure effective prioritization and accountability.
- Foster strategic partnerships with clinical and operational leaders to ensure Epic supports business needs.
- Direct Epic application teams across various modules.
- Champion the use of data, AI, and automation within Epic to improve care delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
- 10+ years of leadership experience in healthcare IT, including 5+ years overseeing Epic systems at an enterprise level.
- Deep knowledge of Epic systems and workflows, including experience with governance, lifecycle management, and optimization post go-live.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and revenue cycle processes.
- Proven experience managing large, complex teams and enterprise-wide projects.
- Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
- Familiarity with value-based care, population health, and digital health transformation strategies.
