About the role

  • Consult on CI/CD pipelines; validate deployment artifacts; and define quality gates, including standard operating procedures and rollback strategies.
  • Monitor system health and performance across environments.
  • Manage Incident, Problem, and Change processes to ensure high availability and minimal disruption.
  • Identify recurring operational bottlenecks and automate remedial processes following strict software development lifecycles (staging, testing, and validation).
  • Implement robust logging and monitoring to support audit requirements.
  • Perform routine security scans and manage vulnerability remediation.
  • Maintain and improve technical runbooks, providing expert feedback to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • You must hold valid residency and the right to work in the EU, EEC, UK, or Switzerland
  • A minimum of 5 years of operational experience with self-managed Kubernetes clusters and productive applications in on-premise environments.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Tekton, ArgoCD).
  • Strong background in networking concepts (load balancing, protocols, and security).
  • Expertise in monitoring and logging stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) including SLI/SLA/SLO tracking.
  • Fundamental understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts.
  • Hands-on software engineering experience (Go, Python, or C/C++) and experience building RESTful services in distributed architectures.
