About the role

  • Transform complex operational data into clear, actionable insights that improve performance, efficiency, and decision-making across the business
  • Work closely with Operations, Asset Management, Finance, and Technology to define meaningful metrics, build scalable reporting, and surface trends that strengthen asset reliability, cost control, and long-term value
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that track key operational performance indicators
  • Standardize metrics and definitions to create a consistent, trusted source of performance data
  • Translate complex datasets into clear insights for both technical and non-technical partners
  • Analyze trends, anomalies, and performance drivers to identify improvement opportunities
  • Partner with Operations leaders to quantify impacts related to availability, cost, and efficiency
  • Support root-cause analysis and performance reviews with accurate, timely data
  • Collaborate with Finance and Asset Management to align operational performance with financial outcomes
  • Support forecasting, planning, and scenario analysis using reliable performance data
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis to inform strategic initiatives and day-to-day operational decisions
  • Improve data integrity through validation, automation, and clear documentation
  • Partner with Technology teams to enhance data pipelines and reporting tools
  • Develop repeatable, scalable processes that grow with an expanding asset portfolio

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, computer science, engineering, business, or a related field
  • Experience analyzing operational or performance data in asset-heavy, industrial, or infrastructure-focused environments
  • Strong technical skills in SQL, Azure, and Python; experience with BI tools such as Power BI or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with KPIs, performance management frameworks, and reporting best practices
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems and translate analysis into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Comfort working cross-functionally and communicating insights to diverse stakeholder groups
  • A detail-oriented, curious mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
