About the role
- Transform complex operational data into clear, actionable insights that improve performance, efficiency, and decision-making across the business
- Work closely with Operations, Asset Management, Finance, and Technology to define meaningful metrics, build scalable reporting, and surface trends that strengthen asset reliability, cost control, and long-term value
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports that track key operational performance indicators
- Standardize metrics and definitions to create a consistent, trusted source of performance data
- Translate complex datasets into clear insights for both technical and non-technical partners
- Analyze trends, anomalies, and performance drivers to identify improvement opportunities
- Partner with Operations leaders to quantify impacts related to availability, cost, and efficiency
- Support root-cause analysis and performance reviews with accurate, timely data
- Collaborate with Finance and Asset Management to align operational performance with financial outcomes
- Support forecasting, planning, and scenario analysis using reliable performance data
- Deliver ad hoc analysis to inform strategic initiatives and day-to-day operational decisions
- Improve data integrity through validation, automation, and clear documentation
- Partner with Technology teams to enhance data pipelines and reporting tools
- Develop repeatable, scalable processes that grow with an expanding asset portfolio
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, computer science, engineering, business, or a related field
- Experience analyzing operational or performance data in asset-heavy, industrial, or infrastructure-focused environments
- Strong technical skills in SQL, Azure, and Python; experience with BI tools such as Power BI or similar platforms
- Familiarity with KPIs, performance management frameworks, and reporting best practices
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems and translate analysis into clear, actionable recommendations
- Comfort working cross-functionally and communicating insights to diverse stakeholder groups
- A detail-oriented, curious mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
