About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct vulnerability research using a range of approaches and techniques
- Develop proof-of-concept exploits for vulnerabilities found
- Bypass modern exploit mitigations
- Join an established platform team focused on a preferred target set, including Android, iOS, browsers, hypervisors, or embedded systems
- Learn and apply the knowledge needed for the work
- Contribute to a collaborative and supportive culture by sharing knowledge and findings
- Participate in and run workshops and other team activities
- Collaborate with the wider VRED team
Requirements
What you’ll need- No formal education or certifications required
- Experience in one or more of vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and exploit development
- Ability to reason through complex topics, choose an approach, find impactful vulnerabilities, analyze root causes, and develop proof-of-concepts
- Interest in and passion for learning new things, taking things apart, and tackling new problems and challenges
- Ability to work independently and highly collaboratively
- Must be a permanent resident and currently based in the UK
