Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct vulnerability research using a range of approaches and techniques
Develop proof-of-concept exploits for vulnerabilities found
Bypass modern exploit mitigations
Focus on a preferred target set within an established platform team, including Android, iOS, Browsers, Hypervisors, or Embedded Systems
Reason through complex topics to choose approaches, identify impactful vulnerabilities, analyze root causes, and develop proof-of-concepts
Share knowledge and findings with the wider VRED team
Participate in and run workshops and other team activities
Collaborate both independently and with the team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in one or more of vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and exploit development
Ability to reason through complex topics, choose an approach, find impactful vulnerabilities, analyze root causes, and develop proof-of-concepts
Interest and passion for learning new things, taking things apart, and tackling new problems and challenges
Ability to work both independently and highly collaboratively
Must be a permanent resident and currently based in the USA
No formal education or certifications required
