About the role

  • Develop preliminary and detailed designs for alignment (geometric design) and earthworks applied to the metro-rail sector.
  • Coordinate across disciplines, performing critical reviews and identifying technical conflicts/interferences.
  • Perform 3D modeling and prepare technical reports, ensuring consistency and clarity of project information.
  • Participate in metro-rail infrastructure projects (urban trains, metro, light rail/VLT) and may support the road/highway department, including large-scale projects of international relevance.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior professionals, contributing to the team’s technical development.
  • Verify finishing details and extract quantities from project documents.
  • Prepare calculation memoranda and model corridors, surfaces and geometric models using Civil 3D and other tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience in large railway infrastructure projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Windows and the Internet.
  • Advanced English or Spanish is desirable.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and BIM methodology.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively and timely, set priorities and meet deadlines.
