About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support quantitative analysis by creating and updating policy-relevant datasets
- Support qualitative research by conducting consultations with external stakeholders
- Collaborate with other IISD Energy experts to review large government data sets
- Track developments in India’s energy policies
Requirements
What you’ll need- A minimum of a master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in energy policy research, climate and energy finance, statistics or experience working in energy sector PSUs
- Understanding of relevant ministries and departments related to energy, nationally and at state level
- Advanced user of Excel and Google Sheets
- Experience with data analysis tools required
- Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to think critically and learn quickly
- Excellent oral and written English skills
