About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the implementation of critical technical solutions, proposing improvements in architecture, observability, and security.
  • Analyze and propose scalable solutions for distributed systems, mitigating technical risks and anticipating bottlenecks.
  • Support development teams by promoting best practices, performing code reviews, and ensuring high-quality deliveries.
  • Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines integrated with automation across multiple environments.
  • Define local standards for RESTful APIs and microservices, promoting consistency, monitoring, and reliability.
  • Develop security guidelines and ensure their adoption, reducing vulnerabilities and production incidents.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical decisions with the business’s strategic objectives.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Advanced experience in Java (Spring Boot) and microservices architecture.
  • Strong expertise in AWS (EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS) and Kubernetes.
  • Ability to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/ArgoCD) in complex environments.
  • Knowledge of observability solutions using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
  • Leadership in secure backend application practices (IAM, SAST/DAST).
  • Ability to make architectural decisions based on trade-off analysis of algorithms and data structures.
  • Experience with code reviews, refactoring, and resolving conflicts using Git version control.
