About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure high availability and performance of systems in a public cloud environment.
- Design and implement complex cloud architectures with a focus on security, cost, and compliance.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Lead the implementation of advanced observability and monitoring solutions.
- Act as a technical mentor, supporting team growth and promoting best practices.
- Optimize infrastructure operational costs and propose continuous improvement strategies.
- Collaborate on chaos engineering initiatives to ensure system resilience.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Advanced proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proven experience with automation using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Deep knowledge of monitoring with Grafana, Prometheus, and Datadog.
- Ability to design secure and scalable cloud architectures (including isolated VPCs and multi-account setups).
- Experience with Service Mesh (Istio or Linkerd).
- Ability to administer Linux systems in critical environments.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices.
- Strong knowledge of networking and cloud security.
