Coordinate and facilitate data management initiatives across business, analytics, and engineering teams
Support the establishment of data ownership and stewardship frameworks
Track governance initiatives, action items, and adoption progress
Coordinate updates and assist in maintaining the business glossary, data catalog entries, and dataset documentation in collaboration with data owners and domain experts
Support documentation of dataset definitions, lineage, and ownership
Assist in defining governance practices for core entities such as Customer, Account, and Product
Coordinate with system owners to improve consistency across systems
Organize governance workshops and working sessions with stakeholders.
Develop documentation and governance playbooks
Assist in promoting adoption of data management tools and practices across teams
Identify opportunities to leverage AI tools and automation to improve metadata documentation, governance workflows, and operational efficiency

Requirements

Bachelor’s and/or Masters Degree in related field
4–7 years of experience in data governance, analytics, data management, or related roles
Experience working with metadata management, data catalogs, or governance initiatives
Familiarity with metadata management, lineage, and data catalog concepts
Experience working with cross-functional teams to operationalize metadata management, business glossary, or data governance processes
Understanding of data warehouses, BI platforms, and reporting workflows
Basic SQL skills to support data validation and analysis when needed
Strong coordination, stakeholder management, and communication skills
**Additional/Bonus Experience:**
Experience with Collate, Open Metadata, Snowflake, Power BI, or modern analytics platforms
Experience leveraging AI tools or automation frameworks to improve data documentation, metadata enrichment, or operational workflows
