About the role

  • Own several functional areas within the Billing domain, acting as the expert for assigned services and sub-domains.
  • Serve as Product Owner for 2 engineering teams, driving execution and maintaining clear, prioritised backlogs.
  • Translate product vision from Product Managers into detailed system requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and end-to-end flows.
  • Lead quarterly and sprint-level roadmap planning together with Engineering Managers, aligning priorities, capacity and dependencies.
  • Work closely with engineering to validate design approaches, identify risks and align on technical decisions.
  • Drive cross-team projects end-to-end: from initial vision intake to delivery, launch preparation and post-release follow-up.
  • Communicate progress, risks, dependencies and delivery plans to internal stakeholders (Product Management, Finance, Support, Sales, etc).
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (planning, refinements, demos, retrospectives) and maintain high execution transparency.
  • Coordinate release activities, including documentation, stakeholder alignment and rollout readiness.
  • Act as the subject matter expert and main point of contact for product-related questions within the Billing area.
  • Ensure alignment of functional design across multiple teams and streams, especially in cross-stream initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager or System Analyst in software development.
  • Strong system thinking and ability to work with complex business logic and multi-service architectures.
  • Demonstrated experience writing detailed system requirements, functional specifications and user stories.
  • Proven track record driving cross-team or cross-domain projects end-to-end.
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to align engineering, product and business stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile delivery (Scrum or similar), backlog management and roadmap planning.
  • Strong technical aptitude and understanding of software development lifecycle.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities and make data-driven decisions.
  • Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency, comfortable with async and verbal communication.
  • Experience in the Billing domain or related financial/charging platforms is a plus.
  • Technical background or hands-on engineering / system design experience is a plus.
  • Certifications in Agile or Project Management is a plus.
  • Experience working in multi-team product organisations or multi-service architectures is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based SaaS environments is a plus.
