About the role

  • At Interapt, we leverage technology to transform our clients and empower individuals.
  • Associate Network (Cloud) Engineer to support design, implementation, and optimization of performance monitoring and network management solutions.
  • Work alongside senior engineers and architects to configure tools, monitor network performance, and support operational excellence across hybrid IT environments (on-prem and cloud).
  • Support deployment and configuration of network and cloud monitoring tools such as Zabbix, ScienceLogic, Splunk, OP5, and similar platforms.
  • Assist in integrating monitoring tools with IT service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Help analyze performance data to identify trends and flag potential issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to gather requirements and support delivery of monitoring solutions.
  • Contribute to development of scripts or tools (Java preferred) that improve monitoring capabilities and automate repetitive tasks.
  • Document processes, configurations, and technical solutions to support knowledge sharing and operational continuity.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in network engineering, cloud infrastructure, or systems monitoring.
  • Familiarity with at least one network or cloud monitoring tool (e.g., Zabbix, Splunk, ScienceLogic).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid IT environments is a plus.
  • Basic scripting or programming knowledge (Java, Python, Bash, or PowerShell also acceptable).
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience working in enterprise or government IT environments.
  • Exposure to ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC).
  • Certifications in networking or cloud technologies (CompTIA Network+, AWS Cloud Practitioner, etc.).
