About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee and manage all phases of water pipe design and implementation, ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget.
- Act as client interface.
- Review design drawings for accuracy and implementation.
- Supervise the work of engineering team members.
- Understand and speak to project schedules.
- Develop and execute strategies to expedite a project’s implementation.
- Manage the permitting process with DC DOB, DOEE, and DDOT.
- Maintain project files.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture.
- 10+ years of professional experience in an architectural office.
- Client Account Management requires strong personal relationship skills.
- Knowledge of construction materials, details, and methods.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
