About the role
- Build native Mac applications using Swift 6, SwiftUI, and CoreData
- Debug and profile apps with Instruments and LLDB to ensure top performance
- Design, develop, and maintain a macOS application that integrates with third-party libraries for sensor data handling
- Implement efficient ingestion and parsing of diverse raw sensor readouts transmitted over local Wi-Fi
- Develop data normalization, validation, and error-handling routines to ensure reliable processing
- Collaborate with hardware and backend teams to align data formats, protocols, and performance requirements
- Participate in specification, planning, and quotation of new product modules and features
- Cooperate with cross-functional team in Agile/Scrum environment
- Contribute expertise to wearable medical device project and related IoT applications
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of Swift 6, SwiftUI, and CoreData
- Experience debugging and profiling with Instruments and LLDB
- Proven track record of building native macOS applications
- Experience integrating third-party libraries for data or sensor handling
- Working knowledge of data parsing and normalization (especially sensor data over Wi-Fi)
- English min. B2 (both written and spoken)
- Engagement and team play
- Scrum (or other Agile) development method experience
- Proven track record in one of Kotlin/Swift/Dart projects (4 years or more)
- Experience in continuous integration (GitHub Actions, Travis, or Bitrise)
- Experience in writing Unit Tests / TDD
- Extensive experience communicating with peripherals over Bluetooth Low Energy
- Broad experience with IoT projects
- Participation in specification, planning, and quotation of new product modules and features
- Out-of-the-box thinking and creativity
- Following high-quality programming standards
- Keeping track of industry developments and initiative to incorporate them
- Functional reactive programming knowledge (nice to have)
- Passionate about mobile and technology
