About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide accurate and timely interpretation between patients and healthcare providers
- Perform simultaneous and consecutive interpreting
- Ensure proper use of medical terminology
- Facilitate clear and culturally appropriate communication in medical settings
- Interpret in English, Mandarin, and French for medical and legal scenarios
- Support OPI, VRI, or scheduled appointments
- Facilitate critical communication in life-changing legal and medical scenarios
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 6 months to 3 years of professional interpretation experience
- Proven expertise in medical or legal sectors
- Fluency in Mandarin, English, and French
- Availability for OPI, VRI, or scheduled appointments
- High level of listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills
- Professional HIPAA-compliant setup
- Wired USB headset with noise cancellation
- Minimum 10 Mbps upload speed and 20 Mbps download speed
- Must be able to interpret between English, Mandarin, and French
