About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations in accordance with Lake Imaging protocols and clinical standards.
- Work efficiently within a busy multi-site environment, adapting quickly to workflow demands and using RIS/PACS systems effectively.
- Maintain strict compliance with radiation safety, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and clinical colleagues to support imaging procedures, including sterile and interventional techniques where required.
- Contribute positively to a large, fast-paced hospital department supported by state-of-the-art equipment and contemporary imaging practices.
- Deliver exceptional patient care through clear communication, professionalism, and a strong commitment to teamwork.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Qualifications in Medical Imaging (Bachelor of Science or equivalent).
- Current AHPRA registration is essential.
- Experience in CT is beneficial, whilst competence in MRI or Mammography will be viewed favorably.
- Experience working with Siemens and Shimadzu equipment will be an advantage.
- Strong communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with patients, colleagues, and referrers.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and participation in professional development and continuing education.
