About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations in accordance with Lake Imaging protocols and clinical standards.
Work efficiently within a busy multi-site environment, adapting quickly to workflow demands and using RIS/PACS systems effectively.
Maintain strict compliance with radiation safety, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate closely with radiologists and clinical colleagues to support imaging procedures, including sterile and interventional techniques where required.
Contribute positively to a large, fast-paced hospital department supported by state-of-the-art equipment and contemporary imaging practices.
Deliver exceptional patient care through clear communication, professionalism, and a strong commitment to teamwork.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Qualifications in Medical Imaging (Bachelor of Science or equivalent).
Current AHPRA registration is essential.
Experience in CT is beneficial, whilst competence in MRI or Mammography will be viewed favorably.
Experience working with Siemens and Shimadzu equipment will be an advantage.
Strong communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills.
Ability to build effective relationships with patients, colleagues, and referrers.
Commitment to ongoing learning and participation in professional development and continuing education.
