Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide deep technical expertise in Naval power and energy systems, including hardware performance, physics, component controls, and supervisory system controls
  • Deliver client-facing models, simulations, and reports
  • Develop, test, and validate software for supervisory control of Naval power systems
  • Develop software to implement supervisory controls for power systems
  • Support technical execution of power system modeling and simulation projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to obtain a DoW Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 8+ years of professional experience in electrical power systems and/or microgrids
  • Deep expertise with MATLAB/Simulink
  • Experience with supervisory control methods for power systems, especially maritime systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to deliver clear technical reports and concise briefings to stakeholders
