About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the monthly close and internal reporting process by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations for accrued sales and marketing expenses, debt, and prepaids
- Assist in ensuring financial statements comply with US GAAP
- Analyze monthly and quarterly fluctuations in accounts within areas of responsibility
- Assist with completion of internal controls
- Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes
- Support the General Accounting group with operational analysis for recurring transactions and monthly account reconciliation
- Support accounting for new business initiatives
- Assist with various projects and accounting matters and drive value within the business
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 3–4 years of public accounting and/or corporate experience at SEC registered entities
- Proficiency with MS Windows and MS Office software, especially Excel
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Deadline-oriented with attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects
- Team player and collaborative
- Experience with SAP is a plus
