About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the monthly close and internal reporting process by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations for accrued sales and marketing expenses, debt, and prepaids
Assist in ensuring financial statements comply with US GAAP
Analyze monthly and quarterly fluctuations in accounts within areas of responsibility
Assist with completion of internal controls
Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes
Support the General Accounting group with operational analysis for recurring transactions and monthly account reconciliation
Support accounting for new business initiatives
Assist with various projects and accounting matters and drive value within the business
Perform other duties as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
3–4 years of public accounting and/or corporate experience at SEC registered entities
Proficiency with MS Windows and MS Office software, especially Excel
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Deadline-oriented with attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple projects
Team player and collaborative
Experience with SAP is a plus
