About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop Android applications using Kotlin;
Design and implement interfaces for systems;
Integrate with SDKs and APIs provided by manufacturers and partners;
Implement and integrate Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions and language models (LLMs);
Participate in defining and evolving application architecture (MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture, among others);
Ensure code quality by applying development best practices;
Ensure functional validation of developed code;
Analyze and resolve software issues;
Prepare, configure, and provide development and test environments;
Configure application containers for development;
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across all stages of development.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Technology, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems or Computer Engineering;
Experience in Android development with Kotlin;
Experience integrating SDKs and APIs;
Experience with Git and version control tools;
Knowledge of development best practices and design patterns;
Familiarity with architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVC and/or Clean Architecture;
Experience with agile development methodologies.
Nice to have:
Experience with unit testing;
Knowledge of audio handling, voice capture and microphone features on Android;
Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and integration with voice services;
Experience integrating and consuming generative AI APIs and language models (LLMs);
Experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) or automotive embedded systems;
Experience with Speech-to-Text (STT) and Text-to-Speech (TTS);
Experience with Jetpack Compose;
Experience with continuous integration (CI/CD).
