About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a technical reference for the team, supporting junior and mid-level developers and consultants
Lead architectural decisions and guide the appropriate use of AWS services according to application requirements
Review code, conduct design reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices
Organize and track activities within a structured Waterfall workflow, ensuring alignment with timelines and scope
Collaborate with complementary teams (DevOps, QA, and UX) to ensure high-quality deliveries
Participate in the analysis, estimation, architecture, and implementation of solutions
Support the dissemination of development best practices and internal standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
Solid experience with AWS, including EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, VPC, Load Balancers, and CloudWatch
Ability to define scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures
Strong proficiency in Node.js for backend development
Hands-on experience with Angular, HTML, and CSS
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL and MySQL) and non-relational databases (DynamoDB and MongoDB)
Experience with the Waterfall methodology as a delivery framework and Kanban for executing development activities
Knowledge of microservices architecture
Familiarity with modern engineering practices (CI/CD, automated testing, and observability)
Experience in formal delivery environments with structured documentation
Advanced English proficiency for work on global projects
