About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop new Android applications and evolve existing architectures using Kotlin and Java
- Design user interfaces and user flows, integrating services, APIs and Android system components
- Propose architectural solutions, design patterns and best practices to ensure app performance, security and quality
- Work on building new modules and features from planning through implementation and delivery
- Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance, ensuring stability and compatibility
- Investigate complex issues, performing advanced debugging and log analysis using logcat, including application and framework layers
- Adapt and optimize System Apps for new Android versions, taking API and OS behavior changes into account
- Participate in code reviews, contributing to internal standards and sharing knowledge with the team
- Collaborate on an international project, using English for reading, writing and conversation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis or a related field
- Experience with Android development in Java or Kotlin
- Experience with Jetpack, including Compose, ViewModel, LiveData and Navigation
- Knowledge of modern architectures: MVVM, MVI and Clean Architecture
- Familiarity with Android CI/CD and build pipelines: Gradle, Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Experience with unit and instrumented tests
- Experience with AOSP
- Experience analyzing Linux/adb logs
- Advanced English for conversation with an international partner
