About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the technical reference for Android development, supporting architecture decisions and ensuring code quality;
Actively participate in the product's technical definition, from understanding requirements through implementation;
Develop robust, scalable and high-performance solutions using Kotlin and modern Android best practices;
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Product, Design, Backend, QA) to ensure alignment and clarity in deliverables;
Promote and share development best practices, conduct code reviews and apply design patterns;
Mentor less-experienced developers, contributing to the team's growth;
Proactively identify and resolve complex issues and drive continuous technical improvements;
Ensure quality through testing (unit and integration) and automation;
Contribute to the evolution of CI/CD pipelines and delivery processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field;
Strong experience in Android development;
Proficiency in Kotlin and deep knowledge of the Android ecosystem;
Experience with modern architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture, MVI);
Jetpack Compose (strong plus or in adoption);
Android Jetpack (ViewModel, LiveData/Flow, Navigation, Room, etc.);
REST API consumption (Retrofit, OkHttp);
Experience with dependency injection (Hilt, Dagger or similar);
Knowledge of coding best practices, SOLID principles and Clean Code;
Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows;
Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, MockK or similar);
Familiarity with CI/CD and publishing to the Play Store.
