About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop modern web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React;
Implement backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI;
Convert prototypes and functional specifications into robust, scalable, high-quality applications;
Develop interactive interfaces for visualizing and exploring geospatial data using mapping libraries;
Create and maintain RESTful APIs to integrate with data systems, analytics platforms, and Machine Learning models;
Collaborate with Data and AI teams to ensure correct exposure, consumption, and visualization of analytical information;
Participate in defining architecture and technical decisions related to new products and features;
Ensure good development practices, testing, documentation, and software maintenance;
Work on optimizing performance, scalability, and user experience;
Contribute to the automation of development, integration, and continuous deployment processes;
Support the evolution of application architecture, promoting high availability, security, and observability.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related fields;
Solid experience in Full Stack development, including:
Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React;
Backend: Python and FastAPI;
Experience with relational and spatial databases, especially PostgreSQL and PostGIS;
Knowledge of API integration and data handling;
Experience with mapping libraries, such as Leaflet;
Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows;
Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban);
Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams;
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines;
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
Experience in on-premises environments;
Knowledge of security, scalability, and performance in web applications.
Preferred qualifications
Experience integrating AI and Machine Learning-based solutions;
Experience working with data-driven products or analytics platforms;
Knowledge of microservices-oriented architectures;
Experience with processing and visualizing geospatial data;
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP);
Familiarity with observability, monitoring, and distributed logging;
Experience with data pipelines and integrations with Data Engineering teams.
