About the role

  • Design and operate data architecture on AWS for ingesting, storing, transforming, and making available data collected from vehicles.
  • Implement ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring standardization, scalability, and reliability in data movement.
  • Define and enforce governance, security, LGPD (Brazilian Data Protection Law) compliance, anonymization, and access control policies.
  • Model Data Lake and Data Warehouse structures, ensuring performance and data integrity.
  • Work with large volumes of data (Big Data), ensuring efficiency in organization and processing.
  • Create integrated data layers for consumption by analytics tools such as Power BI.
  • Monitor quality metrics and manage monitoring and operations of the data environment.
  • Participate in technical discussions on architecture and requirements.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation (architecture, data dictionary, ETL/ELT flows, quality rules, access).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or related fields;
  • Proven experience with AWS (e.g., S3, Glue, IAM, Athena, Lambda), strong proficiency in SQL;
  • Experience with PySpark or Python for data processing;
  • Familiarity with data formats such as Parquet, JSON, and CSV;
  • Experience with Big Data projects, demonstrated by building and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines;
  • Knowledge of data modeling (Data Lake vs Data Warehouse);
  • Proficiency with data formats: Parquet, JSON, and CSV;
  • Intermediate to advanced English for interaction with international teams.
