About the role

  • Act as the primary technical contact for internal teams and clients, addressing and resolving support issues and technical requests related to production systems.
  • Perform in-depth technical analyses of incidents, conduct root cause investigations, and collaborate with engineering teams to propose and implement solutions.
  • Monitor, report on, and troubleshoot data pipeline and back-end system issues, applying workarounds or fixes as needed to ensure continuous operation.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) teams to improve Incident Management and Problem Management processes for more effective issue resolution.
  • Work closely with project managers and operations teams to ensure smooth communication, timely progress of ongoing projects, and production fixes.
  • Analyze workflows and produce detailed defect/failure reports, tracking issues through to resolution and ensuring proper follow-up and closure.

Requirements

  • Proficient at debugging technical issues in high-volume, fast-paced production environments.
  • Proficient in SQL and familiar with Big Data ecosystems such as Cassandra, Flink, Kafka, and related technologies.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python or similar languages to automate tasks and troubleshoot efficiently.
  • Experience debugging API requests and response issues using tools like Charles, network logs, or similar methods to resolve production incidents.
  • Experience implementing and administering monitoring, logging, and telemetry tools (e.g., Splunk, Prometheus) to maintain production integrity.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and knowledge of programming best practices.
  • Knowledge of incident management tools and workflows, and experience with root cause analysis in production environments.
  • Advanced English for writing and speaking (required, international project).
