About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, execute, and evaluate scientific experiments appropriate to project objectives
Operate advanced mass-spectrometry instrumentation
Process, analyze and interpret proteomics data
Prepare research findings for scientific publications
Contribute to new research proposals
Contribute scientific expertise to various projects
Participate in the intellectual life of ISB by attending and presenting at seminars and talks

Requirements

What you’ll need

A Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Biology, Molecular Biotechnology, or related scientific discipline
Track record of peer-reviewed scientific publications
Extensive experience in mass spectrometry-based proteomics
Strong expertise in phospho-proteomic workflows, including phospho-peptide enrichment and data analysis
Expertise operating mass-spectrometry instrumentation
Experience with mammalian and/or bacterial cell culture
Experience in protein expression and purification
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams, adapt to evolving priorities, and manage multiple concurrent projects
Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
