About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and mature governance, policy, and program infrastructure for Instacart's contingent workforce
  • Operationalize the Beeline VMS and Monument MSP platform into a scalable, governed program
  • Develop governance frameworks, standard operating procedures, and accountability structures
  • Manage the approved supplier network as the primary contact for Monument and Beeline
  • Own supplier onboarding and offboarding and enforce rate, compliance, and worker-classification frameworks
  • Partner with Legal and Accounting to operationalize worker-classification and tenure-management policies
  • Ensure policies are SOX audit-ready and strengthen program controls
  • Drive organizational adoption through communications, training, and enablement materials
  • Own the roadmap for international expansion via a centralized EOR, platform enhancements, and improved spend reportability
  • Work with Finance, Legal, Accounting, IT, and other stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of experience in program management, operations, or workforce management
  • Demonstrated track record of building programs from scratch in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Experience managing vendor or supplier relationships, ideally in a staffing, MSP, or VMS context
  • Strong process development skills
  • Proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment across Finance, Legal, HR, and business stakeholders
  • Comfortable leading a newly launched program and building its playbook
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, including at the executive level
  • Preferred: experience with contingent workforce management platforms such as Beeline, SAP Fieldglass, or Workday, or MSP programs
  • Preferred: familiarity with employment law, worker classification, or SOX compliance in an HR or workforce context
  • Preferred: background in HR, Talent, or People Operations
  • Preferred: experience leading international workforce programs or EOR engagements
